The Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) says Iran has come up with stopping the accumulation of 60% uranium.

Iran Press/Europe: Attending a press conference in Vienna on Wednesday, Rafael Grossi claimed that he asked Iran to stop the storage of 60% uranium, and the request was accepted by Iran.

Grossi's claim came after the European Troika approved a draft resolution a few hours ago against the nuclear program of Iran, sending it to the secretariat of the IAEA.

Last week, the head of IAEA traveled to Tehran for "constructive high-level meetings" – as he said - with the Iranian Government and technical discussions on aspects related to the Joint Statement agreed with Iran in March 2023.

Still, in a telephone conversation with Grossi, today on Wednesday, Iran's Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi warned that non-constructive actions in the meeting of the Board of Governors will bring a proportionate response from Iran.

"If the other parties ignore Iran's goodwill and interactive approach and put non-constructive actions on the agenda of the meeting of the Board of Governors through the issuance of a resolution, Iran will respond appropriately and proportionately."

Iran has signed the No-Proliferation Treaty (NPT).
