Vienna (IP) – The Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has reiterated claims that the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) requires significant revisions due to Iran's continued advancements in its nuclear program.

Iran Press/Europe: Grossi, whose agency oversees compliance with the nuclear agreement, pointed to recent increases in Iran's enriched uranium production, details of which were presented to the IAEA Board of Governors last week.

"The original agreement can serve as a baseline, but in its current form, it is no longer sufficient," Grossi stated.

Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi says Iran does not hesitate to respond to unconstructive measures targeting the country’s nuclear energy program, but is still prepared to continue constructive cooperation with the United Nations nuclear watchdog.
