IP - The Lebanese armed group says in a statement it launched dozens of rockets at several Israeli military posts “in response to the Israeli enemy attacks that targeted the south and Bekaa areas”.

Hezbollah fighters bombed two north Israel military positions and the “Rafael defence industry complexes” north of the city of Haifa, it added.

In the first round of Israeli most intensive attacks on southern and eastern  Lebanon with more than 150 airstrikes on Monday early morning, at least one person was killed and 17 others were injured.

11 people were injured in the Israeli air strike on the border town of Aytaroun this morning.

On Saturday, an Israeli strike on the southern suburbs of Beirut killed 45 people, including a senior Hezbollah commander, and wounded 66.

In response, Hezbollah launched a barrage of rockets into northern and central Israel on Sunday and targeted Ramat David and Rafael's military base along with dozens of other military targets.
