Iran Press/West Asia: In a speech to people in southern Lebanon, Hussein Ezzeddine, a member of Hezbollah's allied Al-Wafa parliamentary bloc, addressed Israeli aggression following the ceasefire agreement: "The enemy seeks to gain the upper hand, but the Resistance has never submitted to humiliation or disgrace."
The resistance stands with the Lebanese government on the same path and cooperates with the relevant committee to ensure adjustments and corrections, Ezzeddine said.
Ezzeddine held France and the United States accountable for enforcing the ceasefire agreement, stressing that “they bear the primary responsibility to force the enemy to halt these violations immediately. Should they fail to pressure Israel, they will be fully responsible for the consequences.”
“Our patience has limits,” he warned, adding, “We cannot allow the enemy to act as it pleases.”
On Wednesday, A team from the UN peacekeeping mission - UNIFIL- entered the town of Khiam in South Lebanon from the northern part of the town in the Jallahiya area at the intersection of Marjaayoun-Khiam-Ebel al-Saqi to inspect the road and verify the accuracy of the Israeli army's withdrawal from it, the Lebanese state news agency NNA reported.
The cease-fire deal came into effect on November 27 to end 14 months of Israeli attacks on Lebanon.
However, it is fragile, as several violations were documented by Lebanon.
