Lebanon's Hezbollah in a statement condemned the aggressive action of the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran, emphasizing that this aggression will not affect Tehran's support for the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Hezbollah Lebanon stated in its announcement on Saturday: "Hezbollah strongly condemns the treacherous aggressions of the Zionist regime against the Islamic Republic of Iran and considers it a dangerous escalation of tension at the regional level; an action that reflects the aggressive nature of the occupying regime."

The statement adds: "This regime, with the explicit and comprehensive support of the United States, is committing massacres, atrocities, and destruction, and for this reason, Washington bears full responsibility for the massacres, atrocities, and suffering."

Hezbollah emphasized: "We believe that this blatant attack on the national sovereignty of Iran and the dear Islamic Republic of Iran will never affect its firm and clear stance and full support at various levels for the people of Palestine and Lebanon."

The statement continues: "We commend the success of the Iranian armed forces with their various specialties and units in countering this treacherous attack, and we wish for a swift recovery for the injured. We also extend our condolences to the leadership and the people of the Islamic Republic for the martyrdom of their forces."

Earlier this morning, the Khatam al-Anbiya Air Defense Headquarters the country’s air defense headquarters informed that, despite previous warnings from the officials of the Islamic Republic to the criminal and illegal Israeli regime to refrain from any provocative actions, this illegitimate regime launched an attack early this morning on military sites in the provinces of Tehran, Khuzestan, and Ilam.

The Iranian Air Defense authorities announced that the unified air defense system successfully intercepted and countered this aggressive action, though limited damage was incurred at some points, which is currently under investigation.
