Peshawar (IP)- Due to the ongoing tension in Kurram district of Khyber Pakhtun khwa province, helicopter service has been started on the orders of Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur to ease the difficulties faced by people in transportation. 

Iran Press/Asia:  The provincial government's helicopter MI-17 made two flights from Peshawar to Kurram. Through these flights, 53 people were transferred from Parachinar to Peshawar, including 14 patients. 

The first flight of the helicopter carried 16 people, including the members of Tribal Jirga and Government employees. Today, through the second flight, 27 people have been transferred from Parachinar to Tal city, while through the third flight, the people trapped in Tal will be transferred to Parachinar. Today, there will be a total of five flights, through which more than 100 people will be transferred. 

To meet the needs of medicines in the area, the process of supplying medicines through helicopters is also underway on the special instructions of the Chief Minister. According to official sources, 1850 kilograms of medicines have been delivered to Parachinar from Peshawar.  

Khyber Pakhtun Khwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur said that the difficulties faced by the people of Kurram district in the current situation are well understood, the provincial government is utilizing all available resources to alleviate the difficulties faced by the people of Kurram.

He said that serious steps are being taken for sustainable peace in Kurram and permanent solutions to the problems faced by the locals.
