Iran Press/ West Asia: Hospitals in Deir el-Balah, Khan Younis, and Rafah have reported more casualties after strikes early in the morning.

On Friday, Palestinian sources reported that Israel concluded a 60-hour raid in Jenin, killing 11 Palestinians. Also, Israeli forces conducted more overnight raids across the occupied West Bank.

At least 18,800 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks since October 7.

There are reports of a heavy exchange of fire in the eastern part of Rafah city on Friday.

In the past few days, there has been an increase in the exchange of fire. There is growing concern among the residents of Rafah and the one million displaced people that there might be an expansion of Israel’s military operations to include parts of Rafah, if not all of it.

Meanwhile, Al-Quds Brigades claims attacks on Israeli forces in northern Gaza.

Al-Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad, says it has targeted Israeli forces northwest of Gaza City “with a barrage of mortar shells”.

On the same day, the Israeli army says one more of its soldiers was killed during fighting in southern Gaza.

Since the war started on October 7, nearly 450 Israeli soldiers have been killed.

The announcement comes on the same day military authorities said the bodies of three captives, including two soldiers and a civilian, were retrieved and brought back to Israel from Gaza.
