Iran Press/Iran news: In an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Iran's Health Ministry Saeed Namaki on the level of Iran's cooperation with WHO over COVID-19 and its experiences said Iran is a successful and experienced country from WHO's point of view for long in controlling and uprooting Malaria, Tetanus, Measles, Poliomyelitis and contiguous disease like Eltor.
Iran is a country with unique medical centers and healthcaring systems, he added.
"This year WHO has been waiting to witness an epidemic over the spring floods, but even a case has not been seen to be reported."
In the National High Blood Pressure control and check, 30 million Iranians were covered to be checked, Namaki stated.
The minister went on to say that on COVID-19 Iran has close cooperation with WHO by sending consecutive reports on whether to "Eastern Mediterranean Region" (EMRO) or the headquarters locating in Geneva level.
Answering IP's question that based on what signs and symptoms the head of WHO has estimated an abyss COVID-19 outbreak, Namaki stated that this virus unlike its ancestors and ex-generations is unknown not only for Iran but for all the other countries in the world and still are challenging with it, and the world still combats with to defeat.
The official reiterated that developed countries on the health system do not estimate anything about the virus due to its vagueness.
Iran's Health Minister said Iran definitely may face re-outbreak in white and cleaned areas or may contain this virus.
"Iran is carrying efforts to bring back those Iranians who are living in Europe or other countries whose and threatening by COVID-19," Namaki concluded.
