Iran PressIran news: Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi, referring to the presence of Iranian people in the rallies, said: "We are sure that this feeling arises from the hearts, and cries which will lead to the destruction of the Zionist occupying regime and the elevation of the dignity of the Palestinian people and the Muslims of the world."

Iran's Parliament speaker, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, today Friday, by attending the World Quds Day march and burying the bodies of the martyrs of the consular section of the Iranian Embassy in Syria, paid tribute to the dignity of these martyrs by condemning the crimes of the Zionist genocidal regime in Palestine and Gaza.

Mohammed Bagher Ghalibaf, referring to the increasing significance of the issue of Palestine, human rights and the unity of the Islamic Ummah front for the world, said: "The presence of the people of Iran and people from all over the world in the World Quds Day march showed that this year's Quds Day is different from previous years."

Iran's Parliament speaker said: "The reason for this characteristic is that the Zionist occupation regime showed its demonic nature and its main face and proved that  it does not adhere to human rights and international laws, and commits crimes and kills defenseless people, too."

Ghalibaf also emphasized that the issue of Palestine is not only an issue for the Islamic world but also that of humanity.

Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei, the head of the Judiciary of the Islamic Republic of Iran, today, Friday, at the same time as World Quds Day, attended the magnificent march of this day in Tehran, along with the praying and fasting people of Iran.

He also said: "The heinous crimes of the Zionist genocidal regime in the Gaza strip and their insane actions in the region are out of desperation and helplessness, and the disgraced Zionist regime is spending its last days."

The last Friday of the fasting month of Ramadan each year is the day for renewing allegiance with an ideal that was 45 years ago turned into the linking ring for the world freedom lovers and defense for the oppressed Palestinians, as a humane value.

This annual event was first initiated by the late Imam Khomeini, founder of the Islamic Republic, in 1979 as a way to raise awareness about the plight of Palestinians and to call for the liberation of Quds. 219
