Hamedan (IP) – Permanent Museum of the Publishing Industry was inaugurated in Hamedan, west of Iran, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance, Mohammad-Mehdi Esmaili.

Iran PressIran News: The Permanent Museum of Publishing Industry was set up on Friday evening with 600 square meters in the Ibn Sina Cultural and Artistic Complex in Hamedan.

Various printing devices, including offset, lithography, etc., are showcased in the museum.

The purpose of launching the museum is to display and redefine a rich and valuable collection dating back to the historical and ancient city of Hamedan.

The history of the publishing industry in Iran dates back to the Achaemenid period and the royal seals, which were used to confirm the government's decrees.

Iran's publishing industry, however, flourished after the victory of the Islamic Revolution, and today the modern Iranian publishing industry has a critical role in developing various cultural fields.

The publishing industry has expanded and deepened human life and has played a crucial role in improving life quality and scientific leaps and awareness.
