IP - In a passive reaction to the criminal actions of the Zionist regime in Beirut and Tehran last night, the Secretary General of the United Nations called these attacks a dangerous escalation of tension.

Iran Press/America: "Antonio Guterres", the Secretary General of the United Nations, again showed a passive reaction to the heinous crimes of the Zionist regime.

Reacting to last night's crimes committed by the Zionist regime in Beirut and Tehran, Guterres said: The attacks in Beirut and Tehran are a dangerous escalation of tension and are carried out at a time when efforts should lead to a ceasefire.

The Secretary General of the United Nations added: "We are witnessing actions to destroy efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza, the release of Israeli prisoners, and the establishment of peace in Lebanon."

Guterres continued: The international community must work to prevent actions that can push the entire Middle East to the edge of the abyss.

In the early hours of Wednesday morning, the head of the political bureau of the Palestinian Resistance Movement Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, and one of his bodyguards were killed when their residence was targeted in Tehran.
