Iran Press/ Europe: The director-general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA)Rafael Grossi, noting that the agreement reached between the International Atomic Energy Agency and Iran is a temporary and limited solution for the continuation of some inspections of Iran's nuclear facilities, described the agreement as fragile and It will be difficult to control the situation if no tangible political progress is made by mid-May.
Grossi urged Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) members to seize the opportunity to maintain Iran's nuclear deal as soon as possible. He said the two sides were optimistic about the future of the agreement, adding that there are skeptical views among the members that are understandable.
Iran has restricted IAEA inspectors' visits to its nuclear facilities since last month. Of course, according to the last-minute agreement of the Agency Director with the Iranian authorities, some inspections are still possible.
According to the agreement between Iran and the Director-General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, Iran will no longer provide the IAEA with camera footage installed at its facilities. However, under the agreement, Iran has agreed to refuse to delete the films for three months and to provide the films to the IAEA if sanctions are lifted within three months. If sanctions are not lifted, Iran has threatened to delete the films.
