Iran Press/ Africa: Muslims and Christian fans of Martyr Soleimani participated in the ceremony that was held at the Islamic University Ghana.
At the event, the Member of Parliament for Tamale Central, Hon Ibrahim Murtala Muhammed who graced the occasion praised General Soleimani for having a thorough understanding of the enemy and its resources and equipment.
He said: “The role Gen. Soleimani played in Lebanon in the year 2000, where he indeed trained, assisted, intelligently the Lebanese forces Hizboullah to take over southern Lebanon from the apartheid barbarous state of Israel. He did so in 2000 and the same in 2006. Again his involvement as a result of his strategic thinking as a military man supported the Houthis when they were fought by all the forces in the Middle East including America, Hundreds and thousands of women and children were Barbarously murdered, but for the involvement and assistance and training given by the General Soleimani, Yemen wouldn’t have been a state any longer.”
"The general would enter the field of battle without a shred of fear and with complete power and he would do amazing things,” he told the gathering of senior citizens and sympathizers of General Soleimani.
The Member of Parliament also ascertained that there is no doubt in anybody’s mind that those who were murdered a few days ago were once again sponsored either directly or indirectly by the very people who murdered General Soleimani in 2020.
A security and international relations expert Mr. Adib Sani explained how surprising it is to him how the Arab countries continue to have diplomatic relations with Israel even after their condemnation. “A lot of Arab countries issuing statement upon statements at the UN but interestingly they still maintain diplomatic relations with Israel. I am thinking that at this point no Arab country should have any diplomatic relations with Israel based on what is going on,” he explained.
Also, participating in the ceremony, Iran's Ambassador to Ghana H.E. Bijan Gerami strongly condemned the recent attacks on the twin blasts in Iran on Wednesday that rocked the commemoration for prominent Iranian general Qassem Soleimani by a US drone strike that killed over 100 people.
Kwesi Pratt, a senior journalist and a socialist clearly states that the weapons used in these crimes are sponsored by the United States of America.
He said: "The weapons that are killing our brothers and sisters in Palestine supplied by the United States of America, we cannot be surprised that today, that genocide is not just taking place in Gaza, it’s taking place in the West Bank, Lebanon is under attack, Iraq is under attack, Iranian scientists are been assassinated, everywhere in the free world where people stand up for justice, the United States and its Allies are at work to sabotage our efforts, and whether they like it or not Palestine will be free, whether they like it or not people all over the world will come together and win the battle for national liberation and through democracy, we shall build that new world in which people of all religions will come together as brothers and sisters."
