"We have international law which states when there is a takeover by coup in any country and it succeed, then it's is legal and looking at the support from the Nigeriens it tells you that the coup has gain legitimacy and if we have a legitimate government by a sovereign nation then there is no use of using force on the country."

"In Africa, there are corruption, injustice, people are dying of poverty, people securing passports and visas to leave their countries for greener pastures. When citizens are overwhelmed with economic crises, the only alternative they have is a coup, so if you want to address the coup in Africa, our political leaders must stand up and solve or address the issues of corruption, problems, and hardship facing our continent".
