Iran Press/ Europe: In a separate telephone conversation with his counterparts from Oman, Pakistan, Algeria, Turkey, Palestine, and Iraq Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf called on Muslim countries to condemn Israel's crimes in the Occupied Territories.
At the beginning of his phone call with the chairman of the Palestinian National Council, Salim al-Zanoun, Ghalibaf said: "We have asked all the Speakers of Islamic Parliaments and international organizations supporting Palestine to support the oppressed people of Palestine and Gaza by condemning the actions of the Zionists and their Western supporters."
He stated: "I am confident that the situation will not return to normal with the crimes committed by this child-killing regime in recent days, and the Palestinian people and resistance will give a decisive response to the Zionists' cruel behavior."
The speaker of the Palestinian National Assembly, Salim al-Zanoun, also said: "The recent crime of the Zionists against the Palestinian people is unprecedented."
He added: "Netanyahu is a murderous villain, to stay in power he needs to launch a new round of killings of Palestinians."
In conversation with his Omani counterpart Khalid Bin Hilal Bin Nasser Al- Maawali, Ghalibaf described the Zionists' atrocities as the result of a green light given to Israel by some Arab countries in the region that have recently normalized relations with the bloodthirsty regime.
At the end of the telephone conversation, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly stated: "This ethnic and racial cleansing by the Zionists is not acceptable at all, and the transformation of Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque into a massacre of Palestinians and Western support for their actions is unfortunate."
Ghalibaf also condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime in a separate telephone conversation with Asad Qaiser, Speaker of the National Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Salah Goudjil, Speaker of the Senate of the Democratic People's Republic of Algeria, Mohammed Al-Halbousi, Speaker of the Iraqi Parliament and Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey Mustafa Şentop.
Mustafa Şentop also said: "It is time for Islamic countries to take measures to stop the crimes of the occupying regime in Jerusalem and knock the Zionists down a notch."
