Iran Press/ Iran news: Today, the funeral procession for the martyred president is held in South Khorasan province as people gather to honor the memory of Seyed Ebrahim Raisi. The choice of this province is because Martyed Raisi had a special attachment to this province and was a representative of the people of South Khorasan in the Assembly of Experts for Leadership.
Earlier, grand funeral ceremonies were held in Tabriz, Qom, and Tehran to honor the marted President Raisi and his companions.
It should be noted that after this ceremony, the body of the martyred President will be transferred to Razavi Khorasan province and, the funeral ceremony there will start from 15 Khordad Square in Mashhad towards the Imam Reza shrine (AS).
