The French Army announced that it had started the withdrawal of its forces from Niger.

Iran PressEurope: The French military announced on Tuesday that it had begun withdrawing its forces from Niger after Niger's ruling leaders ousted the pro-Paris president and ordered the French forces to leave the country.  Earlier in September, French President Emanuel Macron said that the French forces would leave Niger by the end of the year due to the request of the Niger's leaders. 

Niger's generals demanded the withdrawal of around 1,400 French forces shortly after taking power at the end of July. 

This is while last Thursday, the French presidency confirmed that the French ambassador had left Niger. 219
