Iran Press/ Iran News: "Violence and war, like the occupation, have never been and will never be the solution to Afghanistan's problems," Mohammad Javad Zarif wrote on his Twitter account on Sunday.
Zarif added that the initiative of the brothers in the Coordination Council and other Afghan leaders could pave the way for dialogue and a peaceful transition to lasting peace.
He stressed: "The Islamic Republic of Iran continues its efforts for reconciliation in Afghanistan."
Zarif posted the tweet in response to a tweet from former Afghan President Hamid Karzai who called for measures to transfer power peacefully.
