Iran's foreign minister arrived at Pretoria airport early on Thursday to take part in the 15th Joint Commission of Iran and South Africa.

Iran PressAfrica: The 15th Joint Commission of the Islamic Republic of Iran and South Africa is to be held on August 10, 2023, in Pretoria.

Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has a meeting set up with South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and his counterpart, Naledi Pandor, during his visit to address key bilateral and international issues.

A delegation of deputy ministers from a dozen Iranian ministries and representatives from the private sector have been in South Africa since Monday to coordinate the upcoming visit by President Raisi.

Iranian and South African officials are also expected to exchange views on ways to expand cooperation between the two countries, especially in the economic, social, cultural, scientific, and technological fields, as well as finalize the memoranda of understanding between the two sides.
