Moscow (IP) - Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, Iran's Foreign Minister announced that one of the goals of his visit to Moscow was to participate in the meeting of the foreign ministers of the countries bordering the Caspian Sea.

Iran PressEurope: "We are focusing on economic and trade cooperation between the coastal countries of the Caspian Sea. This is one of the topics that helps and is effective in strengthening the economic cooperation of the 5 Caspian coastal countries," he told reporters in Moscow.

"At the same time, we will have bilateral meetings with Lavrov to follow up on the latest agreements between the presidents of the two countries," The top diplomat highlighted.

Bilateral meetings with some of the foreign ministers at the meeting were among the other plans of Amir-Abdollahian's trip to Moscow.

"The issue of Palestine and the crimes of the Zionist regime against Gaza are among the other issues that I will discuss with the participants in the meeting, especially Russia," said Iran's foreign minister.

"During these meetings, we will discuss ways to immediately stop the genocide and war crimes in Gaza, open the humanitarian corridor to send humanitarian aid, and prevent the forced displacement of Gazans," Amir-Abdollahian noted.
