Iran Press/America: The Facebook company announced in a statement on Friday that the suspension of Former US President Donald Trump's account on the social network Facebook, which started earlier this year, will continue until January 7, 2023.
Facebook’s vice president of global affairs, Nick Clegg, said that Trump’s actions on its social media networks “constituted a severe violation of our rules which merit the highest penalty available under the new enforcement protocols.”
In addition to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Snapshot also decided to block all pages of the former US president on these social networks. Twitter has announced that Trump's page on this social network has been blocked forever.
On Wednesday, January 6, a group of Trump supporters stormed into the congressional building as a joint session of the US Congress was underway to finalize the victory of Joe Biden in the US presidential election.
