Iran, UNIDO cooperate over coronavirus medical waste

Iran's Ambassador and Permanent Representative to the International Organizations in Vienna announced the decision of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) to cooperate with Iran in the management of Coronavirus medical waste.

Iran Press/Europe: According to the IRIB news agency from Vienna, Kazem Gharibabadi said: The project will be implemented jointly by Iran, UNIDO and China which based on that, Coronavirus medical waste is managed in some Iranian hospitals through a safe and eco-friendly manner.

Gharibabadi added: "Its conceptual design has been presented to the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of our country."

"The cost of implementing this project is provided by UNIDO and China and includes the supply and purchase of relevant advanced equipment," the Iranian envoy said.
