Iran Press/Iran news: Molavi Nazir Ahmad Salami, from Sistan and Balouchestan province in eastern Iran, who attended the investiture ceremony of the new Secretary-General of the Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (FPIST) on Wednesday morning said Sunnis will help the Islamic Governance as they have done in the past.
"Managing the FPIST in the current situation is a difficult task and I hope that the new secretary-general will be successful like his three previous predecessors," he noted according to Iran Press.
He stressed that the new secretary-general must try to improve the universities to achieve the goals of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The investiture ceremony of the new Secretary-General of the Forum for Proximity of Islamic Schools of Thought (FPIST) Hamid Shahriari was held today in Tehran.
Recently, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei appointed Hamid Shahriari as the new Secretary-General of the FPIST.
The former Secretary-General of FPIST was Ayatollah Mohsen Araki who was also honored in Wednesday's ceremony.
