Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi warned against (NATO) military bloc's taking advantage of its presence in Iraqi territory against Iran.

The North Atlantic Alliance (NATO) military bloc is not allowed to use Iraqi territory against Iran, Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi said.

Speaking in a weekly press conference on Tuesday, Haider al-Abadi  the Iraqi Prime Minister referred to the recent ambush attack against Popular Mobilization Forces in northern Iraq which have claimed the lives of 27 forces, saying investigations are underway. 

The attack that happened in Hawija created tensions in Iraq's internal affairs and the Popular Mobilization Forces commanders tend to take revenge.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to re-opening Iraqi Kurdistan Region airports, saying they will remain closed until all commitments are fulfilled.
