Iran\\\'s Foreign Minsitry slams Zionist regime hostile measures agaginst Palestine on Nakba day

Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry in a statement on Thursday, referring to the anniversary of the establishment of the fake Zionist regime and Nakba day said: "The Zionist regime began its hostile actions by occupying, aggression and committing crimes against the main owners of this land during more than seven decades of occupation."

Iran Press/Iran News: On May 14, 1948, the land of Palestine witnessed one of the most painful events in the history of Islam and the world, and since then, the people of this land have not enjoyed peace and comfort, according to the Iranian Ministry of Foreign Affairs statement.

"72 years ago, on this day, Zionist immigrants killed or maimed Palestinians, men and women, young and old, and innocent children, at the pretext of deviant and racist ideas and thoughts. Zionism ruled the land of Palestine and spread to West Asia.", the statement added.

"In more than seven decades of occupation, the Zionist regime began its hostile actions by occupying, aggressing and committing crimes against the original owners of the land, and then by building and expanding Zionist settlements and further displacing Palestinians, desecrating Al-Aqsa Mosque and Judaization  of Quds and the West Bank continued to pursue the siege of the Gaza Strip, the illegal annexation of the occupied Golan Heights, and efforts to annex large parts of the West Bank.", sated the statement.

 According to the statement,"The Islamic Republic of Iran, while announcing its full solidarity with the Palestinian cause and paying tribute to the martyrs and the devotees of the path to freedom and the first Qibla of Muslims, and while rejecting the so-called compromise plans such as the Deal of the Century once again stresses the important responsibility of international organizations, especially the United Nations. to end the organized occupation of the land of Palestine and the Holy Quds, as well as providing the ground for the return of Palestinian refugees to their homeland and to hold a referendum with the participation of the main inhabitants of this land, including Muslims, Christians and the Jews, to exercise their right to self-determination. As well as the formation of the Independent Palestinian state with Holy Quds as its capital.

Emphasizing the Islamic Republic of Iran's steadfast stance in supporting the liberation struggles of the Palestinian people, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs considers the Palestinian issue to be the first issue to be addressed in the Muslim World, despite all conspiracies to forget it, calling on the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, Islamic states and nations. and other free nations to take effective measures to support the Palestinian people to liberate their land.
