Bandar Abbas (IP)- The COVID-19 convalescent care center with 100 beds has been operationalized in Hafte Tir Sports Complex in Bandar Abbas the capital of Southern province of Hormozgan by Iran's Army Naval Force.

Iran Press/Iran News: In the 100-bed COVID-19 convalescent care 50 beds have been dedicated to female patients and 50 beds to the male ones.

The convalescent care center was inaugurated on Saturday evening with the head of Hormozgan University of Medical sciences Hossein Farshidi and Hormozgan Governor-General Fereydun Hemmati in attendance.

With 100 Iran's convalescent bedding being operationalized by Iran's army's navy forces in Bandar Abas the total number of convalescent bedding has reached 600 in Hormozgan Province.

As the Novel Corona Virus has spread in Iran, the country's armed forces including Iran's Army and Islamic Revolution Guards' Corps have taken all of their capacities in treatment as well as health care services in the battle against Novel Corona Virus.

Kianoush Jahanpour on Saturday about the latest data on the deadly Coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the disease said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to April 4 in the country, 2,560 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 55,743."
