Tehran(IP) - A spokesman for the Iranian Ministry of Health emphasized that international organizations are expected to take a position against US unilateral sanctions on the medical and pharmaceutical sectors that endanger the health of the Iranian people.

Iran PressIran news: The Spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Medical Education Kianoush Jahanpour said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press: " International organizations have disappointed us with their inertness. We think that international organizations have either weakened or lacked the courage, ability, and role to realize international standards and defend human rights and patients' rights."

In such an environment, the United States unilaterally pursues its own cruel and unusual behaviors, the health ministry official said.

Jahanpour noted: "These behaviors are clearly in breach of international law, and international organizations are expected to take a stance against US misconducts and declare to the world that the Iranian people are not immune from cruel American behavior."

Jahanpour noted to Imam Reza Health Center to prevent and combat the Coronavirus outbreak, and said: "Given that the armed forces, and law enforcement agencies, including the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps and the Basij (Voluntary Forces), had been alongside the health system since the early days of the Corona outbreak, the Leader commanded synergy and more harmony in the framework of the  Medical healthcare Headquarters."

"The presence of military and police forces in crisis, disasters is a necessity all over the world. Certainly military and law enforcement are a big part of crisis management." Iranian Health Official said.

"We hope that in the coming days, this public mobilization with the new structure of the Armed Forces will bring about positive developments. Alongside the military and official forces, we will witness Basij as a volunteer force and public participation in this framework", he concluded.
