Zanjan (IP) - A sewing workshop in Zanjan province is producing masks and clothing, and supplying them free of charge in order to combat the coronavirus outbreak.

Iran PressIran news: With the outbreak of the Coronavirus in Iran, people from the all walks of life are trying to contain the virus in every possible way.

Workshop staff in Zanjan have stopped their normal work and are now producing special clothing for medical staff and surgical masks to protect people from the coronavirus.

In other cities across Iran similar initiatives are underway. In the northwestern city of Tabriz, the capital of East Azerbaijan Province the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) Health Assistance Unit is training people, with more than 300 Basij volunteers participating in three-man teams tasked with educating and informing the public on how to fight the coronavirus, as well as disinfecting roads and public places.

On Theysday, Iran's Deputy Health Minister said that 435 people diagnosed with COVID-19 have fully recovered from the disease.

Iran's Deputy Minister of Health announced that there are 835 new cases of coronavirus infected in the country, of which 11 have died. 

The total number of people with coronavirus infection has reached 2,336 and 77 people have died and 435 people have recovered.

Alireza Raeisi said the spread of the disease in the city of Qom has slowed down and is follwing a downward curve.
