Tehran (IP) - Tehran interim Friday prayers leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami has recommended that people should be careful, diligent and accurate when choosing who to vote in parliamentary elections on Friday.

Iran Press/Iran news: Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said in his sermons: "I call on the people to participate in the election to realize the slogan Down with the US".

He added: "I recommend those who have not yet voted, to follow the recommendation of the Leader and vote and choose the candidates as accurately as possible."

"If anyone wants to see what the effect of this election will be on the enemies, look at the tremendous devilish acts of the enemies for the nation not to participate in the elections," he said, stressing that these elections are a righteous act and will make the enemy angry. They were urging people in these last moments not to take part in the elections.

Referring to the will of Lt. Gen Soleimani, he said, "This is a will that no one but a person with such a sincerity can write. The will has to be read many times."
