Abbasali Kadkhodaei, Guardian Council spokesman

Tehran (IP) - The Spokeman of Guardian Councilsaid the Council and Police will react to any cases where election advertising rules in relation to the upcoming parliamentary election are violated or ignored.

Iran Press/Iran news: In response to the Iran Press reporter's question, Abbasali Kadkhodaei during his press conference said, "If a member of parliament violates rules during his/her four-year term of service, there is another organization which investigates such violations and the Guardian Council will not be involved in such cases."

Regarding the Guardian Council's reaction to any act of advertising violation by candidates during their election campaign, Kadkhodaei said: "We will respond to this one, but the police will also react to any act of infringement of election laws during the election campaign period by any candidate." 101/205/211
