Iran Press/Iran News: Speaking on the sidelines of the First International downstream oil, gas and petrochemical industries Exhibition held today in the permanent venue of Tehran Exhibitions, Seyyed Hamid Hosseini added: "Fortunately, the ten-month export statistics released by the Customs Administration showed that our petrochemicals and petroleum products exports were over $ 15 billion during that period."

He further explained that the statistics of the union showed that the export of petroleum products had been in a very good position during the current year.

The member of the Chamber of Commerce and Spokesman of the Exporters' Union also noted that: "Despite our concerns, the exports have not declined, as well as oil products sold on the stock market over the past two months, and despite the difficulties of money transfers, exporters have been able to return value to NIMA (Iran's Forex Management Integrated System) that has enabled the country's economy to meet its needs without oil."

He concluded his remarks saying that: "Ten-month statistics show that the country had $ 72 billion in foreign trade balances, about $ 36 billion in exports and the same amount of imports."
