Tehran (IP) - Head of Basij (volunteer forces) Brigadier General Gholamreza Soleimani has said the Iranian nation not only has enough bravery to target US military bases in Iraq but also has proven the inability of US technology to track and intercept Iranian missiles.

Iran Press/ Iran News: On the sideline of the closing ceremony of the Abouzar festival, Gen. Gholamreza Soleimani in an exclusive interview with Iran Press said the importance of IRIGC's missile attack on Ain al-Assad airbase would become clear in the future when the dust has settled, and some time has passed.

He added: "An important consequence of Iran's missile strike is the shattering of America's superpower image and belittling of US military power in the world."

Highlighting the number of US servicemen injured as a result of Iran's missile strike, General Soleimani said the Americans are slowly admitting that their forces were injured, although the "Pentagon has tried to hide the rest of the casualties."

He also said: "Recently some of the wounded were dispatched to European countries, some to regional countries and the rest were sent to the US to receive medical treatment."

Gen. Soleimani said the attack has proven that Iranian technology is sophisticated and advanced in comparison with US technology.

He stated the role of media in broadcasting the truth after Iran's missile strike on two US military bases in Iraq, adding "No doubt the media can reflect Iran's victory in this incident."
