Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Saturday evening at the session of Crisis Management Task Force of Sistan and Baluchistan Province, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said: "They (the Americans) themselves are the initiators of all kinds of evil in the region. You witnessed that the US assassinated one of our top generals who was the commander of an anti-terrorism campaign."
"The Islamic Republic has fulfilled the terms of its 2015 nuclear deal. A country (United States), which is the source of evil acts in the region has violated the nuclear agreement. Look what they have done in the region, in Yemen, Iraq, Syria, Lebanon, Afghanistan, Pakistan. Look who has taken away all the wealth of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, look who has assisted ISIS in the region," Rouhani went on saying.
"We have been moving in the right direction with all our might and we are moving forward. We have no hesitation in securing the people and achieving our national goals," he stressed, adding that what is evil for Iran today is evil for the whole world.
Rouhani highlighted the strategic importance of Sistan and Baluchestan province due to its location in the southeast corner of Iran, describing the province as a strategic province and the sentinel and guarantor of the country’s security, appreciating the unity and solidarity of the people of the province.
"This is where our country connects to the oceans of the world and through this province we can establish a connection between the north and south of the region," he said.
President Hassan Rouhani added: "I assure the flood-hit people of Sistan and Baluchistan that the government will mobilize all its power and capabilities to repair the flood damage.” He also described the people of Kalani border village as proud, pious and resistant, saying, “Meeting with local people boosted our spirit.”
Referring to ministers’ reports at the session, he said, “I am proud one week after the flood, running water, and electricity have been fully restored and there are no problems in this regard.”
The President also instructed Minister of Energy to speed up the process of finalizing two dams in the province and said 14,000 urban and rural housing units will be reconstructed in the province.
Addressing the Iranian nation, President Rouhani said the country was moving in a way that it was sure of, but the enemy had destroyed communication bridges. 101/211/212
