Tehran ( IP) - Iran's Chief of Staff of the presidential office Mahmoud Vaezi has said negotiations are on-going between Iranian and Swiss banks to establish a financial channel for trade in humanitarian goods, with the negotiations being in their early stages.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mahmoud Vaezi, Chief of Staff of the presidential office, in response to Iran Press about establishing a financial channel for humanitarian trade between Iran and Switzerland, said, "The Bank of Iran and Switzerland are negotiating on medicines, food and other basic goods and also humanitarian aid in general, but negotiations are on-going and the details are yet to be agreed upon." 

A member of the Iranian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Ferial Mostofi said a week ago that Iran and Switzerland will soon open a financial channel to exchange humanitarian goods.
