Behrooz Nemati, Tehran MP referring to Iran's Parliament legislation position said in the 10th 'Majlis' over 150 bills have been approved and turned into law so far.

Iran Press/Iran news: Speaking on Sunday in the Majlis, Nemati, a Tehran MP also referred to Imam Khomeini's historic statement that "The Majlis heads all affairs". He added: "One of the main duties of the parliament is to legislate and in this parliament, over 150 bills have been approved and turned into law. There have also been 39 votes of no confidence in various ministers."

Behrooz Nematia also has warned that some people are seeking to undermine the parliament (Majlis).

Another MP who spoke during Sunday's open session was Abdolhamid Khedri, an MP representing Bushehr and Genaweh.

"December 7, was 'Student Day' and it was a day of justice and fighting arrogance," said Abdolhamid Khedri, commemorating the student day.

Khedri also criticized President Hassan Rouhani by saying: "The price of gasoline should not have tripled in a day when the Iranian people are struggling economically, and many are finding it difficult to make ends meet."  205/211/104
