Iran Press/Iran news: During the installation of the platform of phase 23, the director of the offshore section of the 22 to 24 phases of the South Pars Gas Field Abdollah Mehrabi said that by the completion of the topside of phase 23 by 'HL-5000' crane barge, installation of connectors and launching of the platform would immediately begin.
He added that the satellite platform 24B would also be installed in its offshore spot soon, adding that the platform would be loaded parallel with the main phase 23 platform, Iran Press reported.
"This would be the last platform of the project," he said.
When the last two platforms of the project become operational, the offshore section of the phases would be complete, Mehrabi stated.
Iranian Oil Minister also said last month that all maritime sections of 27 phases of South Pars would be completed by the end of this current Iranian year (starting on March 21).
