Ayatollah Javad Amoli

The prominent cleric Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said Iran is secure despite being in a minefield and this is nothing but God's grace.

Iran Press/Iran News: In a session with the head of Iran's Civil Defense Organization Brigadier General Gholamreza Jalali and a group of his deputies, Ayatollah Javadi Amoli said a powerful army should take advantage of the country's vast capacities.

According to Iran Press, the top Shia scholar referred to the eight-year Sacred Defence against Iraqi Ba'athist Regime, adding that winning the battle against the Ba'athist Regime has shown that there was a lot of power and capabilities in the country.

"The war was no less than the World War because all the countries of the world were against us," he stressed.

Ayatollah Javadi Amoli went on to add that the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) and Iranian Army are the country's powerful armies.

"Now, the Islamic Republic is into a minefield, but thank God, Iran is the most secure country of the region. What keeps the country safe is you and your weapons," the Ayatollah underlined.
