Iranian Foreign Ministry Spokesman, in an interview with IRIB, referred to some protests in various Iraqi cities, saying that Iraqi people have demands that have been recognized by the government and various groups, including its parties and political figures.

Mousavi emphasized that the Iraqi government, the nation, and political groups will certainly deal with these issues.

He also placed emphasis on the principle of non-interference by the Islamic Republic of Iran in the internal affairs of Iraq.

"The Islamic Republic of Iran has good and deep relations with the Iraqi people and government and has been standing by the Iraqi government and nation," Mousavi noted.

In this regard, The Leader of the Islamic Revolution on Wednesday said: "I recommend those who care about Iraq and Lebanon to remedy the insecurity and turmoil created in their countries by the United States, the Zionist regime, some Western countries, and the money of some reactionary countries, and the people have justifiable demands, but they should know their demands can only be fulfilled within the legal structure and framework of their country. When they break the law of the land, no action can be carried out."

Some Iraqi cities have recently been facing the protests of people demanding a fight against corruption and reforms from the Iraqi government.
