Iran Press/Iran news: In a meeting with Syrian Ambassador to Iran Adnan Mahmoud, Larijani said: "recent meetings, especially Mecca summit, showed that some Arab countries are repeating the past experience of failure and defeat."
Larijani also thanked the Syrian government for their wisdom, Iran Press reported.
Expressing regret for some Arab countries who gathered against Syria over the last few years, Larijani said that they were defeated by Syrian resistance.
Elsewhere in his remarks, the Iranian parliament speaker praised the Syrian and Iraqi governments for their stance in Mecca summit, saying they indicated that they do not accept these allegations.

Meanwhile, Syrian Ambassador to Iran Adnan Mahmoud in this meeting stressed that the war is underway in all fronts, adding that the Israeli regime has maintained cooperation with all terrorists since the beginning of the Syrian war.
Referring to the fact that Syria has rejected Mecca Summit statement, he said Iran's presence in Syria is upon Syria's demand and in line with fighting against terrorists. 205/213
