Hundreds of people gathered in front of the US embassy and consulate in Turkish cities on Wednesday to protest the new Middle East plan announced by Donald Trump.

Iran Press/Asia Police took high-security measures around the US consulate in Istanbul as some 600 protesters chanted slogans against the US and its President Trump. Another protest was held in the US embassy in Turkish capital Ankara where some 200 hundred protested the plan.

US President Donald Trump on Tuesday proposed the creation of a Palestinian state with a capital in eastern al-Quds, dependent on Palestinians taking steps to become self-governing, in an effort to achieve a peace breakthrough in their decades of conflict with Israel regime.
