Firefighters managed to extinguish the fire that erupted at the building material market 'EuroHome' in Baku as the Azerbaijani Ministry of Emergency Situations stated.

Iran Press/ Asia: “The fire in the Eurohome building materials market in Baku has been extinguished,” the country's Ministry of Emergencies quoted Interfax-Azerbaijan as saying.

Three helicopters, one aircraft, 29 fire engines, and about 150 manpower were involved in the fire-fighting efforts. The burnt area now covers about two hectares. 

An investigation into the causes of the fire is underway.

A fire broke out at the building material market “EuroHome” in Baku’s Binagadi district on Tuesday.
