Iran Press/Africa: The Islamic Movement of Nigeria also condoled the assassination of martyred Lieutenant General Qasem Soleimani to the Iranian people and government and condemned the US criminal action in the assassination of the Commander of Quds Force of Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC), Iran Press reported.
The Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, martyred Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani and the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by a US air raid on Friday Morning 3 January at Baghdad International airport, in the Iraqi capital.
Lieutenant General Ghasem Soleimani was awarded by Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei as the first Iranian military official to hold Iran’s highest military order, the Order of Zulfaqar after the 1979 Islamic Revolution.
