Masoud Pezeshkian also emphasized during a meeting with the President of Tajikistan that the relations between Iran and Tajikistan can become much stronger, and in all economic, scientific, cultural, and political areas, we can reinforce and solidify our past relations.
Pezeshkian emphasized that during this trip, bilateral issues in the fields of trade, politics, and the environment were addressed.
"We discussed many regional developments, especially concerning Afghanistan. Afghanistan is an important country neighboring Iran and Tajikistan. The growth and progress of Afghanistan, as well as the security of our borders, are important to us. He added that we also talked about regional developments, particularly the crimes of the Israeli regime," Pezeshkian added.
The President of Tajikistan also invited his Iranian counterpart to attend the Nowruz celebration in Tajikistan.
