Elections are symbol of democracy in Iran: Health minister

Tehran (IP) - Iran's minister of health, treatment, and medical education cast his ballot at a high school in Tehran.

Iran PressIran news: Iranian Health Minister Saeed Namaki told reporters on Friday after participating in the election that people should participate in the election enthusiastically and consciously, regardless of political affiliation.

Namaki emphasized that the ballot box and the election mechanism are a symbol of republicanism and the result of more than a century of struggle and public will of the Iranian people.

The Iranian health minister stated that participation in the elections was respect for the will of the Iranian people and all the sacrifices for establishing and maintaining the Islamic Republic.
