Tehran (IP) - Iran's Vice President for Science and Technology says that the country's 7th development plan has led to the establishment of a center for the development of Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Iran PressIran News: On the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, June 28, Majid Dehghani told reporters the office of the vice president for science and technology has activated the AI research center. 

Dehghani said that artificial intelligence has become a severe technological need in the world, noting that in the future, these are the AI developers that would be the first-world countries.

Iran's Minister of Sports and Youths said in May that until the end of the current [Persian] year, 1,000 artificial turfs would be exploited in the country.
