Iran Press/ Europe: Demonstrators from different nationalities living in the UK in the last hours of 2023 gatheredn at Downing Street, and condemned the crimes of the Zionist regime in Gaza.
Some demonstrators interviewed with Iran Press on the ground, called for an end to the Gaza war and the Palestinian genocide, the end of the British government's support to Israel, and the establishment of an immediate and permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
They also announced the opposition of the government and parliament to the establishment of a ceasefire in Gaza against the wishes of 76% of the British pe According Gaza’s Health Ministry at least 21,822 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks and more than 56,451 people have been wounded since October 7.
Fierce ground fighting is ongoing in the center of Khan Younis, as Palestinians start 2024 sheltering from Israeli shelling and airstrikes.
