Iran Press/ Europe: Russian Ambassador Denis Alipov has said that the delivery of S-400 Triumph air defense missile systems by Russia to India is “progressing well” as per schedule. The envoy’s remarks come amid concerns in New Delhi over possible delays in the supply of key military hardware by Russia to India amid the conflict in Ukraine.
“The best S-400 system delivery is proceeding well according to schedule,” Alipov said. The ambassador made the remarks in a preface written in the magazine Russia Digest on the occasion of the 75th year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between India and Russia.
“Today’s Russia-India multi-faceted cooperation is one of the most comprehensive in the world,” he said. In the excerpt, Alipov also noted that Russia and India continue to successfully implement key initiatives that make cooperation unique.
India and Russia have extensive military and strategic cooperation.
India is openly dependent on Russia for defense, energy, and even nuclear issue and Russia is trying to prevent New Delhi from doing business with the West, including the United States and the Zionist regime, by supplying weapons and military equipment. 219
