Tehran (IP) - Customs in Iran will soon be equipped with 33 X-ray machines made by domestic knowledge-based companies, according to the head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).

Iran PressIran News: In an interview with Shada, Mohammad Rezvani-Far, the head of IRICA, explained that these machines will be delivered to Iran's customs department next year.

Rezvani-Far emphasized that these X-ray machines will be used for inspecting cargo, vehicles, and freight trains. The Vice-Presidency for Science and Technology will verify the image quality of these machines, which is the next challenge.

Rezvani-Far also highlighted that the current X-ray machines provided to IRICA have replaced machines made by other countries and meet the required quality standards. This year, 17 machines are expected to be delivered, with an additional 33 scheduled for delivery next year.
