Tehran (IP) - Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Iran’s Parliament Speaker, and Miguel Diaz-Canel, Cuba president,met and discussed in Tehran.

President of Cuba traveled  to Tehran at the head of a political and economic delegation while it has been 22 years since the last visit of the late President Fidel Castro to Iran.

The presidents and high-ranking officials of Iran and Cuba signed 7 cooperation documents and a joint statement.

According to Iran Press the memorandums of understanding and cooperation documents between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Cuba in various sectors of science and technology, health, agriculture, energy and mining, communication and medicine were signed by the officials of the two countries.

These cooperation documents were signed by the vice president for science and technology, the ministers of agriculture and cooperation, labor and social welfare, and the vice minister of health, treatment and medical education with the Cuban ministers.
