Tehran (IP) - The Cuban Ambassador to Tehran said that his country tries to cooperate with other countries to fight sand and dust storms.

Iran PressAmerica: On the sidelines of the International Conference on Combating Sand and Dust Storms (SDSs) in Tehran on Saturday and in an exclusive interview with Iran Press, Alberto González Casals noted: Dust storm is not a regional problem but international one, so proper cooperation is required.

The conference is being chaired by the Head of Iran's Department of Environment, Ali Salajegheh, with the presence of President Ebrahim Raisi.

The conference will continue until September 10, with representatives from 50 countries and 15 international institutions participating in the international summit, along with a large number of experts, university professors, and representatives of executive, research, and educational institutions.
